What A story: Ms. Buchanan was on my parole board. 3 separate times. Every time, she hit me every time. One was for 2 years and second one was for two and the last one was for one. I got released in 2001 and then 2 years later I get loved up and went to Rikers and I ran into a CO whose name was Buchanan. It was her granddaughter. She knew who I was. She said you must be Mr. Green.

~ When entering the jail I had to trade in my ID for a visitor badge that I showed at every security checkpoint. I carried my badge in this ID wallet around my neck. You can see paint on it from multiple murals. I always had a certain level of anxiety that I would lose the pass and be punished or that they wouldn’t let me leave the jail.
